New Brighton Information

New Brighton is a new suburban residential neighbourhood in the south-east quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located at the eastern edge of the city, and is bounded by 52 Street E to the west, 72 Street E to the east, McIvor Boulevard to the south and the Shepard landfill site to the north. When the city completes its proposed East Freeway (Stoney Trail extension), this will replace 72 Street as the community's eastern boundary. The community was designed by Carma Developers LP. The community is touted by Carma as being their first that is "on-line", i.e. there is an interactive community website.
